A play of material, shape, and color

Their tables are true works of art, crafted with carefully selected wood for their history. Two styles are offered: “butterfly” with its symmetrical double trays, and the single tray for wide woods. Each table is imbued with both functional and aesthetic meaning.

The coffee table is available with a single tray or in a butterfly design, and the legs can extend along the edges.

These headboards are not just furniture but rather works of art that add a touch of sophistication and elegance to any bedroom. If you’re looking for a way to beautify your sleeping space and infuse it with creativity and inspiration, Ateliers Brizepierre’s unique and beautiful headboards are the perfect addition. This solid block is a simple and sculptural element that brings a minimalist and soothing atmosphere to its surroundings. Its versatility allows it to be used as a bedside table, stool, or even a coffee table.

“La Boule,” a solid wood sculpture, embodies the exhilarating idea of movement. This fascinating and perfect work of art represents the opposite of the stability and immobility of a cube. The rotation of this sculpture evokes an atmosphere of change and cycles, reminding us that nothing is static in our lives and that everything is constantly evolving. Contemplating this work, we are inspired to remember that movement is synonymous with growth, novelty, and infinite possibility.

The egg, from the beginning of the world, is a symbol of beginning, creative power, and rebirth. Myths have continuously enriched it throughout civilizations: from fertility to eternal life.

The square shape of this sculpture represents a photograph of the tree’s life, and thanks to its inlays, it enhances the story told by the wood of this tree.

Your Wood Essence

Oak

The Oak tree was known as the Tree of Zeus among the Greeks and of Jupiter among the Romans. It was particularly coveted by the military for making warships (Colbert’s forest). It is a very hard and blond wood with a beautiful grain, very resistant and durable.

Cypress
Cypress

Cypress

Fine grain, veined appearance with warm colors and a natural scent of Provence.

A fervent protector of the Mistral wind in Provence, it symbolizes immortality for Plato and paradise for the Persians. It was used for making sarcophagi in Egypt. Its durable wood led to the belief that it protected the bodies for eternity, and its green flame connected Heaven and Earth.

Ash

Flexible and strong, with contrasting grain, white color with pearly reflections, and olive tendencies at its core. Its grain is coarse.

In the past, Ash was highly prized for making weapons: bows, javelins… and for the manufacture of early airplanes.

Walnut

Walnut

Walnut

Homogeneous and semi-hard with a silky grain and elegant veining. Its color is yellow-brown veined with black.

Walnut is highly sought after for fine woodworking, fine carpentry, and sculpture. It is undoubtedly one of the most precious and expensive woods.

Elm

Resilient with character. Hard and heavy, with a reddish-brown heartwood and light sapwood.

It was long appreciated in wheelwrighting (hubs, rims…). Today, this tree is seriously threatened by Dutch elm disease and is at risk of disappearing from dendrology (the study of trees).

It has become a prized wood for its rarity.

Poplar

Poplar

White, soft, and fibrous, its characteristics make it a lightweight and durable wood with a soft grain.

This tree is widespread in France, and its bark and leaves are highly regarded for their medicinal properties.

Pear

Moderately hard, reddish or yellowish in color, pear wood has a fine and homogeneous grain.

European luxury. It allows for fine and delicate sculptures, precise facial features, and takes a beautiful polish under colors and finishes.
